Tender Slow Cooker Balsamic Beef…YUM!

photo (17)After I made this recipe, I thought, “I can’t believe this came out of my crockpot!” This rich and tender beef recipe is one of my all-time favorites! With creamy mashed potatoes and roasted broccoli, this meal was straight perfection.

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

5 lb beef chuck roast

1 c beef broth

1/2 c light brown sugar

1/4 c balsamic vinegar

1 T soy sauce

1 t kosher salt

1/4 t crushed red pepper flakes

3 cloves garlic, pressed

Directions:

Whisk together all of the ingredients beginning with beef broth. Poor mixture into slow cooker and then add roast. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Remove the roast and shred with forks and then return to slow cooker. We made gravy with some of the juices and I highly recommend it! Serve and enjoy!
